Conference on the Future of Education: FutureFwd

Conference on the Future of Education: FutureFwd

School leaders, teachers and governors are invited to attend

This is a new conference, taking place in July, looking at the skills and attributes our young people need for their futures by linking the worlds of work and education. It is free to attend.

The format is participatory. On Monday 4 July, we will be hearing from our young people to start with - 'gens z and alpha', then experts in focused speaker-streams. The day ends with a reception at Warwick Castle.

Tuesday 5 July is a half-day of facilitated round-table discussions, pulling together ideas and practice so we can offer real-world advice about how we can best support pupils, eg through new curricular programmes.

The University of Warwick and Warwickshire College Group are our lead partners, and the conference is also supported by Tes.

More details can be found here:, including blogs which help set the scene.

Those attending so far include Heads, schools and education group CEOs including MATs, civic and political leaders, think-tank and education charity leaders, industry and business specialists, curriculum leaders and education association representatives. It promises to be stimulating and lively.

We are keen to engage with as many local schools and educationalists as possible, and it would be wonderful to welcome representatives from schools in the Astra Hub.
